U.S. says its embassy in Bangkok has been open to “limited operation” Monday, and will fully reopen Tuesday after being shut for more than a week in the middle of a great demonstration.
“In Thailand, our embassy has been open for limited operations today (Monday) and we anticipate the commencement of full operation again tomorrow,” said State Department spokesman Philip Crowley told reporters.

But the state then gave a kind of emergency services and routine consular services to American citizens living in a luxury hotel in the Thai capital in a few hours in the morning.
