Former chairman of the Indonesian Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency (BKSAP) Abdillah Toha said it was time for Asean and Indonesia in particular to help Thailand overcome its problems.
“Indonesia Had better IMMEDIATELY lead (action to help Thailand) before the Impact spreads to other countries in the Southeast Asian region (ASEAN),” the BKSAP chief from 2004-2009, said to AFP here on Friday.

He made the statement in response to the foreign minister `s comment Marty Natalegawa That” Indonesia is ready to help Thailand overcome its crisis if needed. ”
“That Three Asean members do not border on Thailand, namely Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines Could form a team led by Indonesia to encourage conflicting parties to negotiate,” he said.
